Norton 360 Version 2.0

Follow these simple steps to make sure SpeedBit Video Accelerator works with Norton 360 v2.0:

Right click on Norton tray icon in the taskbar and select 'Open Norton 360 Main Window'

Step 1:

Right click on the Norton tray icon in the taskbar.
Select the "Open Norton 360 Main Window" option from the menu.

In the 'Main Window' select the 'Settings' option

Step 2:

In the "Main Window" window click the "Settings" option.

In the 'Settings' window, select the 'Firewall Protection' option

Step 3:

In the "Settings" window, select the "Firewall Protection" option from the list on the left.

Step 4:

Make sure that VideoAcceleratorEngine and VideoAccelerator files appear in the list.
Select "Allow" from the pull-down list in the "Access" column.

Step 5:

If SpeedBit Video Accelerator files are not in the list, click the "Add" button.
In the "Select a program" window, select the Video Accelerator files, one by one and click the "Open" button.

(By default, the installation folder is: "C:\Program Files\SpeedBit Video Accelerator").

Select 'Allow' in the Program Control Window

Step 6:

After selecting VidoeAccelerator.exe and VideoAcceleratorEngine.exe, the "Program Control" window will open. Select "Allow" from the pull-down list in the "What do you want to do?" section.

Close all the windows and run the communication test by selecting the "Run communication test" option from the right click menu on the SpeedBit Video Accelerator tray icon in the taskbar.
