Kaspersky Internet Security 2009
Follow these simple steps to make sure SpeedBit Video Accelerator works with
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009:
Step 1:
Right click on Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 tray icon in the taskbar.Select the "Settings" option from the menu.
Step 2:
In the "Settings" window, on the left side menu under "Protection", select the "System Security" option.On the right side menu, under "Application Filtering" click the "Settings..." button.
Step 3:
In the "Rules settings" window, select the "Applications" tab.Under the "Trusted" list make sure that VideoAcceleratorEngine and VideoAccelerator files appear in the list.
Step 4:
If the Video Accelerator files aren’t in the list click the "Add group..." button.In the "Edit application group name" window, enter the name "SpeedBit" and click the "OK" button.
Step 5:
Click once on the new group ("SpeedBit") and click the "Add..." button.In the "Executable module selection" window, select the Video Accelerator files, one by one and click the "Open" button.
(By default, the installation folder is: "C:\Program Files\SpeedBit Video Accelerator").
Step 6:
After adding all the Video Accelerator files to the list, click the "OK" button to accept the changes.Close all the windows and run the communication test by selecting the "Run communication test" option from the right click menu on the SpeedBit Video Accelerator tray icon in the taskbar.
