SpeedBit Video Accelerator Firewall Guide:


This issue has been resolved in versions 2.3 and higher.

Follow these simple steps to make sure SpeedBit Video Accelerator works
with Kapersky Internet Security v6:

Right click on Kaspersky tray icon in the taskbar and select the 'Settings...' option

Step 1:

Right click on Kaspersky tray icon in the taskbar.
Select the "Settings…" option from the menu.

Select the "Anti-Hacker" option in the left menu and click the "Settings…" button on the right side of the window.

Step 3:

Select the "Rules for applications" tab.
Click the "Add…" button and select the "Browse…" option.

Specify the executable module window

Step 4:

The "Browse…" window will open.
Add VideoAccelerator.exe, VideoAcceleratorService.exe and VideoAcceleratorEngine.exe from the installation folder by clicking the "Open" button. By default, the installation folder is: "C:\Program Files\SpeedBit Video Accelerator".

Step 5:

After adding the.exe files an "Edit rules for..." window will open.
Simply click the "Template…" button and select "Allow all" from the menu.

Step 6:

After adding all of the SpeedBit Video Accelerator files close all the windows. Then run the communication test, by selecting the "Run communication test" option from the right click menu on the SpeedBit Video Accelerator tray icon in the taskbar.
