BitDefender Internet Security 2008
Follow these simple steps to make sure SpeedBit Video Accelerator works
with BitDefender Internet Security 2008:
Step 1:
Right click on BitDefender Internet Security 2008 tray icon in the taskbar.Select the "Open advanced settings" option from the menu.
Step 2:
Select the "Firewall" option from the left menu.After selecting the "Firewall" option, make sure that SpeedBit Video Accelerator files are in the list and allowed, if SpeedBit Video Accelerator isn’t, click the window with the plus icon.
Step 3:
In the "Add new rule" window, click the "Browse" button and select VideoAccelerator.exe, VideoAcceleratorEngine.exe and VideoAcceleratorService.exe from the installation folder.By default, the installation folder is: "C:\Program Files\SpeedBit Video Accelerator".
In the "Select protocol:" combo box selects the "TCP" traffic.
In the "Select action:" combo box selects the "Allow" option.
New click the "Add" button to apply SpeedBit Video Accelerator files.
Step 4:
After adding all of the SpeedBit Video Accelerator files close all the windows. Then run the communication test, by selecting the "Run communication test" option from the right click menu on the SpeedBit Video Accelerator tray icon in the taskbar.
